How to Join the Server

Server Address

Host: bmc4.unitedtrappers.net

In Minecraft → Multiplayer → Add Server → use the host above.

Install the Modpack (Better MC 4 — v48, MC 1.20.1)

1. Install a launcher: Modrinth App, CurseForge, or Prism Launcher.
2. Search for the pack:
   • In the launcher’s search bar, type Better MC 4.
   • Select version 48 for MC 1.20.1.
   (You can also import our shared .mrpack / profile ZIP if we provided a link.)
3. Install & Launch the pack, then join bmc4.unitedtrappers.net.

Allocate More RAM (Minecraft Launcher)

1. Open the Minecraft Launcher → Installations.
2. Find the Better MC 4 installation → click the ⋯ (three dots) → Edit → More Options.
3. In JVM Arguments, set -Xmx to your target memory, e.g. -Xmx6G (for 6 GB).
   • Recommended: 4–6 GB if you have it available.
   • Don’t exceed ~75% of your system RAM.
4. Save, then Play.
